Name(s) of author(s) should come underneath the title. The names of author(s); the surname, first name, middle name, should be given in full. The name of the department and institutional affiliation of each author, City and Country of all authors should come underneath. The Name of the corresponding author to whom page proofs should be sent, including complete address for express mail service, telephone number, and e-mail address should be indicated at the end of the title page.

Abstract: All manuscript must be preceded by a structured abstract which should not be more than 250 words. The abstract should be concise, intelligible and should draw attention to the significant contents of the paper and the author’s main conclusions. No information should be reported in the abstract that does not appear in the text of the manuscript. All abbreviations should be spelled out. Conclusions should mention the relevance of the work to physical Sciences.

Keywords: Up to five keywords should be suggested by the author.

Introduction: The objectives of the study and why the study is of interest should be summarized. This should define the problem and, if possible, the frame of existing knowledge. Adequate references to earlier work which is relevant to the present study should be presented.

Materials and Methods:

Sources of Animals, Feeds, Plants, Reagents and chemicals should be indicated, including address. Indication of purity, of reagents used, should be given wherever appropriate. Standard methods, for which an adequate, readily available literature citation can be provided, need not be described in detail. In a sentence or two it may, however, be useful to summarize the principle of the analytical method, physiological procedure, etc. All original methods or modifications of literature procedures should be precise as possible to enable other scientists to repeat the work.

Results: This section should present and interpret the results in reference to the problem outlined in the introduction. Clear concise presentations of findings are necessary; however extensive discussions of data should be presented in the Discussion section. Only material pertinent to the subject must be included. Data must not be repeated in figures and tables. All Tables and Figures should be referred to in the text and their approximate positions indicated in the margin of the manuscript. Quantities and units must be designated using SI units, Greek, unusual symbols, abbreviations/acronyms should be defined in the text at their first occurrence. Figures and tables (only originals) should be numbered in Arabic numerals in order of mention in the text.

Discussion: Your data should be discussed in detail including, but not necessarily limited to: sources of error, significance, relationship to data obtained by other workers and possible reasons for or significance of differences. Needless detailed recapitulation of the results should be avoided. Unsupported hypotheses and speculation should be omitted.

Conclusions should mention the relevance of the work to physical Sciences.

Acknowledgements A simple brief statement of thanks to individuals for services or advice is appropriate. Acknowledgement of financial support, advice or other kind of assistance should be given at the end of the text under the heading “Acknowledgements”. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.

Citations in the text should be by names and date in brackets.

References: Authors should ensure that all references are accurately written. References should be at least fifteen in number and recent. References should not be listed unless they have been read and the correctness of the citation verified. References should be given in name and date form in text, with the term et al. in italics being used if there are more than two authors. Examples of citations are: (Akande, 1996); (Akande and Ifeanyi, 2005); Adaji and Clark, 1990; Atawodi et al., 1976). As reported by Onugba and Isokpae (2005); as described by Ighono et al. (2016). References should be listed alphabetically on a separate page at the end of the manuscript.

References should be typed in the following manner

Salem University Journal of Physical Sciences 2019, Vol.1, Issue 1

Authors are expected to follow ethical standards and guidelines (set by a governing committee responsible for human experiments (for example a university review board or health organisation), when performing experiments on human subjects or volunteers and this should be reported in the manuscript.  Authors are expected to have obtained an informed consent form and questionnaire from all human subjects, which should be stated in the manuscript. When reporting experiments on animals, authors should indicate whether the ethical standards and guidelines, or any national law on, the care and use of laboratory animals was followed.
